FLASHES OF LIGHT
SYNOPSIS
It’s 1884. Serbian engineer, Nikola Tesla has a plan. He will not rest until he can devise a new method for the distribution of electricity, without wires, free for the taking. Tesla also has a secret. It seems he is getting guidance from another realm. Are the voices he’s hearing some kind of divine intervention, or is he spiraling towards a mental breakdown?
To test his theories, the 28-year-old phenom sails to America to work with his hero, Thomas Edison, which leads to a fierce rivalry between the two inventors in the infamous "War of the Currents," a battle over the world’s electrical future.
On this journey of one man’s life of self-discovery, the rules of science will be bent, the line between reality and fantasy will be blurred, hearts will be broken, and the very future of mankind will be invented. As Nikola Tesla dances along the edge of genius and madness, one thing is clear. The lightning has left the bottle.
